CHAP is an association of all Christian Hospitals, mother child health centers and dispensaries in Pakistan. The motto of CHAP is to facilitate technical and educational grounds.
WPCMA and CHA decided to merge into one body called CHAP which was registered with the Government of Pakistan on21st June 1973 under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860. It is wide, indeed much wider in the range of its members, considered in terms of their denominations or Christian beliefs, for this reason CHAP has its own constitution.
the motto of CHAP is to work in the health field including health care, prevention of diseases, teaching training programs related to medical and nursing profession and allied sciences, thus opening relevant projects and institutions to help the people of Pakistan irrespective of their cast, color, creed or race.
It gives me immense pleasure to note that the CHAP, which was born in 1972, has completed its 31 years. The journey over the years has not been easy. There have been many stumbling stones across the road but due to the steadfastness of" its founder members and their successors, it has reached its present state.
